I know, it has been much TOOOO LONG since I have posted on here. All I have to say is if I am this busy now, I hate to see what it is going to be like when I have more than one kid and they are involved in sports and other activities. It seems like every day there are errands to run, more and more chores and projects to do and so many other little things that come up. When you add to that the fact that at least one family member has been sick at a time for the past 3 weeks, it makes for some pretty busy days in the Albert house. I truly wish there were more hours in the day but I think even then, it wouldn't be enough. Well here are a few highlights from the past month.
So, we finally got a No Soliciting sign. I had been wanting one for awhile but had been picky because I wanted one that looked nice. I don't know if anyone else will find the humor in this or not but we actually bought this from a kid selling them door to door. All I have to say is either this kid or his mother is a pretty smart business person!
Abby was sick for about 5 days but luckily we made it without going to the ER because she kept on eating still. It was pretty scary because at one point, her fever got up to 104.1! Yikes! I do have to say that there were some tears on both her and my part. Hopefully this kid learned her lesson too that it is much better to take your medicine by mouth.
One "good" side effect of her being sick was that she was much more snugly than normal. This kid is usually too much on the go to stop and snuggle but while she was sick, she couldn't get enough. Here she is snuggling with her Daddy. I just have to add that there are few things as wonderful as when your child starts giving you real hugs. Abby loves to hug now. She will just come up to us and put her arms around our neck and give us wonderful hugs!
Abby loves it when Daddy comes home. She will go and look out the window and say "Dada, Dada, Dada!"
And she is quite the little "helper" when it comes time to fold the laundry. She also loves to get in empty laundry baskets and have me pull her around like she is in a car!
