Recent pics of the kid

Abby says "I want to be just like Daddy when I grow up" Helping Mommy cook breakfast.
The following are all examples of how this little kid is a stinker. I will have the perfect picture shot but as soon as I turn on the camera, she tries to get it and stops doing the unbelievably cute thing she was doing.

Abby found one of Jason's cowboy hats and loves wearing it around the house.

When I got the camera to take this picture, Abby was sitting in her toy box lounging as if it were her favorite chair and was reading a book. Unbelievably adorable but as soon as she saw the camera, she put down the book and tried to get out of the box.

Abby did not love this walker when she was younger but now she loves to climb inside of it and hang out.

A Day at the Lake

Yes, I know, it has been much too long since I have written on here. The Grandma's must be going into withdrawal, just kidding. Well hopefully today I will be able to put up many pictures and possibly a video if I can figure it out.
A few weeks ago we had our anniversary. Since at the time we had a babysitter lined up for another evening, we decided to spend the day as a family. Unfortunately, our opportunity to use the babysitter fell through, because of us not her. Maybe another time we will be able to have our first date since Abby was born.
Jason took the day off and for part of the day we went up to a lake in American Fork canyon for a picnic and some fishing.

It's always good to have some insect repellant.

4th of July!

The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays! It is so wonderful to be able to celebrate this wonderful Nation that we live in, and you can't beat fireworks. This year we had a barbecue with some of our friends and Abby and her friend Ryder got to play with sparklers and poppers. I think this has to be one of my favorite pictures! Abby did really well with the sparklers (of course with very vigilant supervision)

It was a great day spent with great friends celebrating the Birth of this wonderful country we live in!
